Methodology

Inventory: The inventory of trauma centers identifies all trauma centers in the U.S. and maintains information for each center on designation/certification and verification, level of care for adult and pediatric trauma, trauma registry characteristics, and key personnel. Surveys: TIEP has a program or targeted surveys on selected issues in trauma care. The goals are to collaborate with the network of trauma centers in collecting data on the current status of trauma care and contribute to improving trauma care.
